Uplift and disposal

Having a new floor fitted is exciting. It’s usually the finishing touch to a newly decorated room, sometimes it’s just to refresh the floor but it always makes a big impact, finishing your living spaces beautifully. A new floor is the icing on the cake that completes the space and brings your interior design vision to life. Once it’s complete you can relax and sink your toes into your new carpet, or kick back and enjoy your swish new laminate flooring or vinyl. However, getting to that point is not all plain sailing.

Preparation

As with most DIY jobs, preparation is everything. There’s usually an existing flooring or carpet to come up which can be hard work in itself.

Often a very dirty and dusty job, old carpet and usually underlay needs to be ripped up and any old nails and staples ideally need to be removed before the new flooring goes down, with everything bagged up ready for disposal. Then there’s the hassle of storing and getting rid of your bin bags, along with the numerous trips to the tip and a messy car to boot!

Free service

However, there’s really no need to worry, as we’re here to make it easy for you.

If you select for Carpetright to arrange your fitting, then the independent professional fitters can bag up your offcuts and vacuum after fitting

Additional service

And, for a small additional fee, the independent professional fitters can uplift your old floor covering or take it away for disposal. Or they can do both. Plus, they can remove any new unwanted waste and trimmings. We can arrange all of these services, or just one or two of them, with prices starting at just £3.95m2 for uplift and disposal. Payment for the additional service should be made direct to the independent professional fitters on the fitting day.

Make the whole process that bit easier by adding uplift and disposal to your carpet or vinyl order online today, or simply ask your local store for details.
