YOU SPEND ABOUT A THIRD OF YOUR
LIFE LYING ON A MATTRESS SO CHOOSING A NEW ONE
AND TAKING GOOD CARE OF IT IS ESSENTIAL.

Let’s explore your mattress and take
some easy steps to extend its life…

WHAT A CHOICE!

CHOOSING
YOUR MATTRESS

MATTRESS
TYPES

CHOOSING
YOUR MATTRESS

Your mattress
should last between
7-10 YEARS.
Choose wisely as it
will be with you for
a long time.

Try before you buy to test the comfort factor. If you share your bed, make it a joint decision to ensure you are both happy.

MATTRESS
TYPES

OPEN COIL SPRING

The traditional and most
commonly used spring system.
These are made from single
springs fixed together on one wire.
Gives excellent support and makes
the mattress light and easy to turn.

POCKET SPRING

A pocket spring mattress uses
individual small springs housed in
separate fabric pockets.
As the springs move independent
of each other, the body is
supported better.

MEMORY FOAM

A memory foam mattress moulds to your body’s heat, and warms to the contours to provide pressure relief.

At Carpetright we combine the best mattress types, so you
don’t have to compromise on comfort

You might wake up with SMALL RED BITE MARKS on your skin caused by bed bugs.

If you inspect closely you can physically see tiny bugs crawling on your mattress.

PREVENT THIS
FROM HAPPENING

Change your
bed linen
WEEKLY

Vacuum your mattress regularly. Particularly between piping & crevices.

Throw back your sheets and duvet in the morning and leave the bed to air for
20 MINUTES to allow body moisture to evaporate.

WHAT ABOUT MY OLD MATTRESS?

Carpetright’s Platinum Service offers collection of your old mattress at the same time as delivery of your new mattress.

Your old mattress will be fully recycled by the UK’s only independent national recycling company.

Even the PU foam is recycled, which is then used for carpet underlay.

When your mattress starts to take its toll on your sleep quality and your health you know for sure that it’s time to get a new one.
