house beautiful x carpetright: the edit

When we launched our House Beautiful collection in September 2015, we knew it was going to be a success — and it doesn’t look like we were wrong! To celebrate the third anniversary of the launch, we’ve compiled some of our favourite highlights from the range.

wood flooring

Made with hard-wearing real wood, this timeless floor will add a touch of luxury to any home. The engineered wood floor is combined with a two-layer construction including a base and a top layer veneer finish. With a stylish two strip feature, this flooring is engineered to provide definition and will showcase every detail — plus, it will make any room appear larger than it actually is, perfect for smaller spaces!

Suitable for use in the kitchen or living room, we love the slightly brushed textured finish. It will give a natural look with an airy feel to any home and in our opinion, will go with any décor!

Echoes Saxony Carpet

A carpet with a velvet touch? It might sound too good to be true, but this carpet really does feel that luxuriously soft to the touch. Available in a whole host of colours from rich and deep to light and bright, this premium carpet is also extremely practical — perfect for busy family homes. Whether you choose to fit it in your hallway, landing, lounge, dining room or bedroom, this carpet can certainly handle high levels of traffic in style!

As well as looking great, the Carpetright Echoes range benefits from Cosyback, a flexible backing on the carpet that recovers after being folded or bent. This handy extra will also help to prevent damage to internal décor and paint when fitted, can reduce sound and add an extra layer of insulation, which sounds pretty good to us!

This vinyl flooring may look like linen, but it is extremely tough! Practical for bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories, this water and slip-resistant vinyl flooring is also robust, making it a perfect choice for busy bathrooms and kitchens. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, it also works well with under floor heating — perfect!

laminate flooring

Corinthian Cornice Laminate

It’s rare to find a laminate floor that is suitable for both the kitchen and bathroom, but this hardwearing and functional laminate ticks all of the boxes! The planks are heavily embossed, creating the look of real wood on the laminate.

The House Beautiful Corinthian range features several stand-out properties, such as the fact that it is impervious to water and is unlikely to cause any slipping. Easy to clean, this stylish laminate will add a touch of class to any space. And did we mention it’s scratch resistant?

Luxury Vinyl Tiles are the new darlings of the hard-flooring family. Suitable for heavy traffic in a busy family home, LVT is water resistant and easy to maintain. Our favourite thing about this floor however is the fact it has been embossed with realistic-looking knots and grains to create the look of a real wood floor!
