Tile tales

Tiles and the subsequent tiling that will follow can get extremely expensive. Why not look at using less tiles and only focusing on key areas, such as the floor? However, if you’ve fallen in love with a design that is more on the expensive side, why not use it alongside a cheaper tile? Pair with a complementary colour or print to make your statement tiles really stand out.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, repainting a room is the one of the cheapest, and most effective ways to give your bathroom a new look. Just bear in mind that painting your bathroom will take longer than you might think! You’ll have to paint the walls, the ceiling, around any windows, around the bath or shower, the sink, the mirror, the toilet… you get the gist!

TOP TIP: Make sure you use paint that has been especially designed and formulated for use in a bathroom.

Storage solutions

Having a lot of clutter in your bathroom can make the space feel cramped and a lot smaller than it actually is. The best thing to do first is to have a good clear out and throw out any empty bottles, products you haven’t used in a while and anything that has a passed expiry date on it. Investing in a sleek storage cabinet or vanity unit is also a great way of hiding away all those bottles and jars!
