OUR FITTING SERVICE

Your fitter will fit your floor perfectly. Your fitter will move up to 5 items of furniture and put them back once they’ve fitted your floor. They will vacuum and tidy up, leaving you to enjoy your new floor. On top of this, we’ll guarantee your fitting for a year. They also have their own public liability insurance too, so you’re covered if there’s an accident.

MOVE FURNITURE

Our fitters can help move up to 5 items of furniture but you will need to inform the store if this service is required, particularly if there are any heavy or large items which may require more than one person. Valuables and breakables must be removed prior to fitting.

Note that our furniture moving service applies to items under 4ft (1.22m) and excludes electrical goods, un-plumbing appliances, fixed, fitted or full furniture units.

UPLIFT EXISTING FLOORCOVERINGS

Our fitters can take up your existing flooring and package it up neatly for your disposal*. They can also prepare uneven sub-floors with hardboarding and screeding if required. In addition, they can remove, trim, plane and replace doors where necessary – additional charges apply for these services. The fitters will leave your new flooring tidy, vacuumed and ready to be enjoyed – and for your complete peace of mind the service is also guaranteed for a year.

*Your local store will be able to advise you on ways to dispose of your old floor covering.

PROFESSIONAL FITTING

FOR A PERFECT FINISH

Fitting a floor is a true craft and we can recommend someone who can do it for you. We carry out the necessary checks and appraisals to ensure we know exactly who we are recommending to visit your home. All professionally qualified fitters are CRB checked as well as independently assessed by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

We can deliver some bed frames in as little as 48 hours but standard delivery on our beds is just 21 days. However, should your delivery consist of products from different suppliers we will make just one convenient delivery to you within 28 days. Ask in store for full details.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF DELIVERY?

Our trusted carrier will then agree a convenient delivery date with you and make sure you have the appropriate contact information should you wish to change your delivery date or have any questions regarding the service. On the day itself you will be advised of a three hour delivery window by our carrier and will then receive another call approximately one hour prior to the actual delivery of your new bed.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY NEW BED IS DELIVERED?

Our Silver service delivery includes our two-man crew taking your new bed to the room of your choice and if it’s a divan we will even assemble it for you and take away the packaging too.

CAN YOU DISPOSE OF MY OLD BED?

Yes, our Platinum delivery gives you all the benefits of our Silver service plus in addition we will collect and recycle your old bed too thus avoiding adding to the UK’s increasing landfill.

WHAT DO I DO IF THERE’S A PROBLEM WITH MY PURCHASE ON ARRIVAL?

We expect you to be entirely happy with your new bed however in the unlikely event you notice any problems with your bed upon delivery please bring it to the attention of the delivery team straight away. Also, whilst they are present immediately call the store where you purchased the product and advise them of the issue.

CARING FOR YOUR NEW BED

DO’S

Turn your mattress (unless it’s a no-turn mattress) every week for the first three months (from side to side and end to end) then every other month thereafter. This helps upholstery fillings to settle down more evenly.

Use a washable, mattress protector to protect the mattress and prolong the life of your bed.

Air your bed thoroughly, ensure you throw back the bed clothes and leave the bed to air for 20 minutes each day.

DON’TS

Do not make a habit of sitting on the edge; mattresses are designed to spread the weight over a wide area.

Do not roll up or bend your mattress to store or transport, this can cause serious damage to the spring unit and tear the material.

Do not walk, stand or jump on a bed, this will damage the fillings of your mattress and weaken your frame or divan base.

Do not use a mattress on a base for which it was not designed, this can impede comfort and reduce the life of your new mattress.
