Below we explore the considerations you should make when browsing the artificial grasses within our range.
Pile height will affect the way that your lawn will look and feel. Longer pile height artificial grasses are often popular because they will provide the lush-look of a natural lawn. However, shorter pile height grasses give the impression of a well maintained lawn and are still comfortable underfoot.

You can forget spending Sunday mornings tending to and mowing your lawn. Artificial grass takes very little maintenance - no mowing, watering or feeding means more of your time is your own. The upkeep couldn’t be simpler; just a regular going over with a leaf blower for best results – or stiff broom or plastic rake if a blower is not available - to remove leaves and debris, and it’s as good as new.
If there are instances where it needs freshening up, hosing down is recommended. Diluted disinfectant will eradicate pet urine odours or mess. Please note that outdoor mirrors or mirrored walls are not recommended for use near artificial grass, due to the risk of the surface being burnt by reflected sunlight.
They are protected from ultraviolet rays meaning there’s no need to worry about fading with sunlight. Made in a similar way to tufted carpets, artificial grasses use a strong latex backing to give it strength and stability, whatever the weather.
Overall, artificial grass is very robust and our ranges all come with a UV warranty of at least five years, giving you peace of mind that your garden will have a luscious green lawn for years to come. It is also pet friendly and of course mole resistant. Its sustainability with no need to use fertilizers and no carbon emissions make it great for the environment too. Artificial grass can be damaged by excessive heat, so barbecues shouldn't be placed directly on top of your lawn. Also artificial grass is not suitable to be driven over by motor vehicles.
