Did you know that the latest film releases can have an influence on design trends for both Fashion and Interiors? Movies that win awards, have big box office successes or capture the 'mood of the moment' all have the power to inspire designers and also create a desire within us as consumers to have a similar style in our homes.
A good example is the influence of 'Sex and the City 2' released in May which includes a glamorous trip to Abu Dhabi...that was actually filmed in Morocco. Either way the movie has some beautiful Bedouin-inspired clothes, vast desert locations and exotic market scenes that are set to influence High Street trends and ties in beautifully with our 'Grand Bazaar' trend!
Films can be a great starting point for your own decorating projects. So if you don't know where to begin to decorate a room in your home or you would like to revamp a plain room that needs some character, look no further than your dvd collection!
