    1. Poor Review by Hammy308

We bought this vinyl 6 months ago for our kitchen, we are both full time working couple so the vinyl doesnt get much wear. We bought it and layed it ourselves - the vinyl ripped when we layed it - we thought this must be our fault as my husband can be heavy handed sometimes - so we took this on the chin and thought we would get the wear out of it and replace it. But as time as has gone on it has been very poor and we wouldve been replacing it regardless of it being ripped. It stains with spots of tomato sauce from spag bol sauce, a fork dropped on the floor has left 4 indents in the vinyl where it landed, and friends high heal marks have not disappeared and almost punctured the vinyl in places. overall very disappointed and would not recommend.

Thank you for your review and in response to the points you are making, Firstly the fact that you have ripped the vinyl, it is possible to tear vinyl if it is not handled with care. This is not a fault of the product. The better products to not tear as easy as they become more resilient due to the extra PVC content as the prices increase. With regards to the spaghetti Sauce, this contains tomato which has strong pigmentation. As long as this is cleaned immediately it should not stain. The suppliers are actually conducting some tests at the moment to determine this time scale and how a PU lacquer alters this. We do not perceive how a fork being dropped normally onto a vinyl will indent it. I have tested this and it doesn’t on this range. The indentations from high heels and stilettos does happen, the pressure being exerted will indent the floor. It is a cushion floor and this particular item is not as resilient and so does not rebound as a more expensive product like Planet or Goliath for example. These products have less of a cushion effect and so do not indent as easily.

      Regards Sandy
