Tog is a rating with which you can assess if the carpet, or underlay, is suitable for under floor heating or independent insulation. For example, low tog rating is better for under floor heating whilst higher rating means that it has better insulation.

A tog rating includes thickness, density and composition in its calculations, showing the carpet’s or underlay’s thermal resistance, which can vary considerably.

TIP: for under floor heating it is recommended not to go above 2.5 tog rating for both carpet and underlay combined. However, please always check manufacturers' recommendation as specifications can vary.

Ordering is really simple:

1. Choose the carpet samples you like by clicking the check box that displays if we have that particular carpet sample in stock

2. We pick them and deliver them direct to your door within 3 to 5 working days

3. After you've seen them in your home with your furniture and your wall colour, you'll be able to decide which sample you like best

4. You then just need to buy the carpet by either calling us on 0845 604 4995 between 8am and 8pm 7 days a week, visiting one of our stores or typing the name of the carpet in to the search box at the top of the website and hitting buy now.

If you think Vinyl will be the right choice for you but aren’t 100% sure then order a vinyl flooring sample so you can decide from the comfort of your own home whether you'd prefer to go with a wood effect vinyl flooring choice, a tile or mosaic effect or even one of the more characterful patterns that are hitting floors with recent trends.

It's really easy to order vinyl (lino) flooring samples.  Just choose the floor on the website and check the box that we display if we have the vinyl sample in stock ready to send out to you.  Once you've ordered it, you'll receive it within 3 - 5 working days (Royal Mail dependent) and then you're free to make your choice at your leisure.

Once you've decided on the vinyl sample you'd like to live with, you can order it either over the telephone by calling 0845 604 4995 between 8am and 8pm 7 days a week, call in to store or type the name on the back of the vinyl sample in to the search box online and once you've entered your measurements, just hit the buy now button and you'll be guided through the rest of the quick and easy process.

Want to try before you buy? Being able to fully see, touch and visualise how your laminate choice will look in your house can be invaluable and so we’ve made ordering a laminate flooring sample easier than ever. 

To order laminate samples, just find the range and colour that you like best.  If a sample is in stock of this choice, a box will display which will add this to your sample list.  Once you've chosen the 4 samples you'd like to see in your home, you just need to retrieve this list from your account area and once you've completed your details we'll get your sample choices sent out in 3 - 5 working days.

We will deliver your chosen bed to your room, unpack and assemble your new divan bed and even take away the packaging.  Whilst it may take 21 or 28 days for you to receive your bed, we do this to make sure that your bed turns up in the best possible condition.  We don't store your beds for weeks in a warehouse where they can get knocked and damaged, it may mean you have to wait a little longer but we want to make sure you get the best possible quality.

When you've placed your order, once your bed has been manufactured the delivery team will call you to book in a delivery date.  You'll then receive another call the evening before your delivery to confirm the slot which will be followed up with a text confirmation.  Then on the day of your delivery, the driver will call you approximately half an hour before he arrives.
